Carmen, You are a very beautiful and incredible person. Your children reflect you and your beauty. I am so glad to have this contact with you. I will keep you in my prayers as I know this will be a rough, tough journey. Your spirit of fight and optimism and love of life will keep you alive. My dad was diagnosed years ago with a late stage cancer of the bladder. He was told over and over that he must have his bladder removed. He went to UCLA and asked for the best doctor and said he was going to live to be 103 (he was only 10 years off). Mom and I spent many a day for a couple years while he received treatment. One time he was in Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, someone was firing shots at the windows. Luckily Dad was in bed as a bullet went through his window. He just took it as a positive sign that nothing would defeat him. The day came when he was pronounced cured -that was when he was 65 years old. He never had a relapse. Many a person said he was just a stubborn German - he was my idol and he just never gave up. I know the road you will travel will be very rough - please know that you are surrounded in so much love and with so many prayers. Hang in there. Keep fighting. Doctors cannot give dates or timelines. The human spirit is amazing. The power of love defies all science. Keep visualizing yourself as whole and healed. Much love, Nettie
